LEHMO

COMEDIAN, TV & RADIO PRESENTER

Lehmo is a multi-talented and highly experienced performer who has spent over two decades captivating audiences across radio, television, and the stage. One of Australia’s most well-travelled comedians, he’s performed in every corner of the globe. Lehmo’s live work has seen him headline comedy clubs in the USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Thailand, building an impressive international following.

A regular fixture on the festival circuit, Lehmo has showcased his talents at renowned events such as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (1996 and 1997), the Adelaide Fringe Festival (2000, 2002, 2004, 2006–2011, and 2017), and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (1998, 2002–2017). Fun fact: Lehmo once held the Guinness World Record for the most jokes told in an hour— a staggering 549!

Lehmo has earned the title of Australia’s number one ‘combat comic,’ completing eight ‘tours of duty’ performing for our troops abroad. These tours, which have taken him to army bases and, in true showbiz fashion, several naval ships, place him in the ranks of comedy legends like Bob Hope and Steve Martin.

As a polished and professional presenter, Lehmo has worked at numerous corporate events across Australia and Southeast Asia. Whether hosting AGMs, team-building days, Christmas dinners, or conferences, Lehmo’s versatility shines through. With a background as a chartered accountant, he knows exactly how to engage corporate audiences—so much so, he even created and performed a highly successful festival show on the subject, Taxing Lyrical.

On the radio, Lehmo is a seasoned pro, having co-hosted the number one rated Gold 104.3 Breakfast Show with Jo Stanley, where they finished at the top of the Melbourne FM ratings. Before that, he worked at Mix FM Melbourne with Brigitte Duclos and on Triple M's national drive show with Wil Anderson. He was part of SAFM’s Breakfast Show with Bec, Cosi, and Lehmo and, in 2023, joined Dead Set Legends on Triple M, also filling in on Melbourne Triple M Breakfast for 7 weeks. In 2024, his deep relationship with Triple M continued with regular roles across the network. With over 20 years of radio experience, Lehmo has interviewed everyone from Prime Ministers and Premiers to award-winning actors and rock 'n' roll legends. These days, he continues to be a staple of Triple M, making regular appearances on both breakfast and drive shows. he also hosts Summer Grandstand on ABC radio nationally.

Lehmo’s versatility extends beyond radio. As an original panellist on The Project and the host of The Beep Test on Fox Sports, he’s cemented his place in TV comedy. He was also a host on the long-running AFL show Before The Game, alongside Dave Hughes, Mick Molloy, Andy Maher, and Neroli Meadows. The show aired for 11 years and was nominated for a Logie Award for Best Sports Show nine times.

No stranger to the camera, Lehmo has appeared on a wide range of TV shows. In 2024, he partnered with fellow comedian Dilruk to compete in The Big Trip, an outback adventure race and hosted 2 episodes of the Helloworld travel show and co-hosted the NYE Fireworks broadcast with Catriona Rowntree on Seven. His other notable TV appearances include Have You Been Paying Attention?, The Cheap Seats, The John Cleese Roast, Hughesy, We Have a Problem, Good News Week, Rove Live, Studio 10, The Circle, The Glasshouse, Stand Up Australia, 11am, Hey Hey It’s Saturday, and Stand Up Live (UK TV).
